The super8 market is probably the smallest market for film companies. It does exsist, but only just. Fuji will be concentrating elsewhere, and are not very likely to fork out the initial capital to set up their factories to put their film in s8 cartridges. The only reason Kodak still does it is because it doesnt cost them much to do: they already have the equipment for making cartridges.

All things change in due time. More and more schools and starting to pick up super 8mm as a medium, and they want equipment, film, the means for production. This just might help introduce more film products for us.

Where does super8sound.com get their cartridges from and could fuji use them as well?

I think S8S gets their cartridges from Kodak but I could be wrong.
